I have no problem with no co-op in the single-player. What they can do if they want to improve is to string all the co-op missions into a single, coherent story to make a second, full co-op, campaign.

Prototype has a chance because of 1) Marketing and 2) because there is no Infamous on the Xbox 360.

If you saw/played Infamous and saw/played Prototype you could not think that they were of the same quality.

Infamous released in May 2009; Prototype released in Jun 09, 2009. Back then the gaming press was severely anti-PS3. Everything PS3 was bashed or downplayed if it could not be bashed. N4G was extremely anti-PS3.

There is a market of 1.5 million units if Microsoft has exclusive marketing.

The question is would they sell 1.5 million additional units on the PS3 if they keep it exclusive to the PS3. Actually since the port costs money the magic number is somewhat less, probably more like 1 million extra units.

I have thought and still think that they would make more money if they kept it exclusive.

@DigitalAnalog

"In which case, if FFv13 utilizes the full 25GB or yet the entire Dual-Layered 50GB. You can be rest assured the game would NOT be on the 360 due to the amount of disks needed."

Hence the reason we know and believe that FFXIII had reams of content cut from it after it became a multiplat title. It is hard to believe that they their original vision was to make game that was a straight line until it got to the third 360 disc.

@Coogi and AAACE5

FF13 selling more as a PS3 exclusive than it did as a multiplat is not far-fetched at all. FFXIII sold about 4 million on PS3 and sold about 1 and half million on 360. I think it would have sold the same amount at least and most likely more. If it had been PS3 exclusive.

The relevant questions are:

1) Would FF13 have been a better game if it were PS3 exclusive?
2) Would being a better game have led to more sales?

The show sucks, but the industry needs the major event.

A good deal of video game netroots(us) is about build-up to blocks of new releases that come in the major events. Now there are only two of them Tokyo Game Show and E3. If even one of them sucks as they did this year the gamers are deflated for the rest of the year. The other events are too small to make up the difference. There should be 4 large shows per year. Each with lots of new releases and new trailers etc., ...

No you are not the only one.

I think comments here are reflecting the fact the Elder Scrolls V is a more anticipated game.

As I have said before, I think it would be a mistake for Mass Effect to release in early November with an Elder Scrolls V release within a week or two.

Both games' primary fanbase is on the 360. I think that fanbase is more dedicated to the Elder Scrolls

I think they have a bigger problem with Elder Scrolls V. I for one, would buy Elder Scrolls V over Mass Effect. I don't think I am the only one.

Oblivion was released in the first year of the 360's life and was one the titles that made it worthwhile to move up to the 360; in my opinion it was THE title that made a 360 worthwhile.

I believe Skyrim will have immese loyalty from 360 fans and will put a big dent in ME3's sales if they are releas...

You shouldn't count games that only have Codenames, if it only has a codename then it hasn't been officially announced. It might been cancelled, made multiplat, or anything else.

The Halo 4 in this list is indeed just a rumor. But I will go out on limb and say that we will get some form of Halo every year.

While it most likely will NOT be Halo 4 (that would step on the Reach multiplayer) it will be something Halo. Maybe a map-pack, a racing game, maybe a Kinect game. But Microsoft gives us some Halo almost every year.

Mass Effect 3's released date says Holidays 2010. The problem is Elder Scroll V has a release date of Nov. 11, 2011. Mass Effect is good but it might not want to go head to head with Elder Scrolls 5.
